The mummy hood is a rad design and it has 2 pockets on the inside.It is also ridiculously cheaper than comparable bags.

Columbia Fleece Sleeping Bag Review

(More customer reviews)This bag has a full length zipper to enable it to open like a blanket.It also has a small velcro piece at the top to keep the bag from unzipping while you sleep.The blue and green polyester areas of the sleeping bag are a bit slick & slippery, but the tan microfleece liner is soft and comfortable to sleep on.

I haven't tested this in the field yet, but it appears to be a well made, compact & fairly lightweight summer sleeping bag.The specs on Amazon aren't very clear so here is some accurate measurements:

Sleeping Bag = 1261 grams = 2 lbs 12.5 oz
Incl Mesh Bag = 33 grams = 1.2 oz

There are 2 bungies sewn into the outer foot area; When rolled up tightly and fastened with those bungies, it is 6" x 17".(If you compress it in a strong stuff sack, you can probably make it smaller.)The sleeping bag only fills about 80% of the included mesh bag, so I plan to roll up my silk sleeping sheet inside also.

Texsport Tenderfoot Sleeping Bag Review

(More customer reviews)I understand that the comfort rating in the description has a question mark by it, and I would be more accepting of that, EXCEPT on the package it is ABUNDANTLY CLEAR the the comfort rating is 50 degrees F.
It says it in more than one place, and says it in HUGE type on the front of the package. I wish I could attach a picture to show it.
Additionally, on another part of the package, it shows that the Tenderfoot sleeping bag is comfortable from around 45degrees, to around 55 degrees, and it has listed the temperature ratings for all of the other Texsport sleeping bags.
(if you want one that is rated for 40 degrees, get the one called the "Caprock".)
Other than that, the sleeping bag seems to be of good quality, but we haven't used it yet,

(More customer reviews)First off I want to dispel both of the bad reviews that were written.No offense, but I'm assuming these two are not backpackers and that is what this bag is intended for.Yes it's light and not fluffy, that's why it only weighs a little over 1lb without the stuff sack.As far as 20 degrees, it's like the other person said, temperature is relative to the person.I'm a hot person so this bag suits me down to the rating and then some.The guy who said he couldn't get the bag back in the sack probably has never used a stuff sack in his life, I actually can get the bag small enough to fit in the sack + my pillow as well, so I have no idea what he's talking about.I give this bag for the price to weight ratio 4 stars, I don't think you can't find a better bargain.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this bag from Target a few months ago.It's a great cold-weather bag, I've used it in temps down to 20F and have been very toasty in this thing.The removable top layer gives you nice flexibility, and can be used to augment your sleeping pad on warmer nights or as a pillow.My only issues are that it's a little too heavy for backpacking (but what do you expect from a $50 bag?), and it doesn't come with a compression sack.

My friend has this. I tease him mercilessly.

(More customer reviews)Our family goes camping about once a month and we found we were going through a lot of those little Coleman propane canisters between our stove and lantern.We have a big propane grill at the house so it seemed logical to use that same bulk canister to power our camping appliances.Very simple to use.My only complaint would be the length.If it was another 24" taller it would get the lantern up higher to illuminate more of the campsite.Otherwise, works as advertised.

Black Diamond Bipod Bivy Bag Review

(More customer reviews)For side sleepers like me, the Bi-Pod Bivy is way too tight in both the hip and shoulder areas. Also, I use the Therma-Rest NeoAir mattress which when fully inflated takes-up three inches in height.

I have reordered and have received the heavier but far more spacious Tri-Pod Bivy. Its size is just right for me.

The quality of both models is excellent.

I have two complaints with both models. First, the zip-up opening is much too small. The opening should have at least one more foot to facilitate entry into the bivy. Second, I don't understand why the outer seams don't come pre-sealed from the factory. Instead you are sent a tube of sealer and a syringe and must seal it yourself.

(More customer reviews)When my wife and I got married, I got to register for some camping goodies.This is by far the best- folds up small, but really gives you two tables worth of surface space, plus a shelf underneath for things you don't want on the ground.Lightweight, folds small.Keep it clean though- a few too many beach campouts, I may have to replace this one soon, but 3 good years of regular use/abuse and it's still kickin'...a highly recommended camp accessory.

At first I didn't think he wanted to take it because he usually bundles up his shirts and lays his head on that.. but he brought the pillow with him anyway. When he came back from the trip he told me that everyone was eyeing his pillow and wanted one for themselves. He really liked the pillow. He thought it was comfortable for the size and cost. He folded it in half and used it that way. I don't think it was that soft unless you folded it. You are also able to fold it and tuck it into a nice flap that is located on the back of the pillow for easy storage and it's nice for when you don't have a lot of room in your backpack.

All in all, good purchase. Oh, and it says that the colors vary when you order it. Our pillow came in Red. (just so you know)
