Ameristep One Man Ice Shelter Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I just received my new shelter and haven't set it up on ice yet.We had high wind warnings here with gust up to 45 MPH, so I set my new shelter up in an open lot.I was very pleased with how well it handled in the wind and with how well it handled the wind.It seems to be well constructed and roomy enought for someone of my size (6'4" @ 225lbs.) I can't wait to get it out on the ice.

The North Face Flight Bivy Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Pros
It is light! 1 lbs. 7oz.Lots of room inside.I easily put my Therma-a-Rest GuideLite Full pad and Reg. Size Mummy Bag inside the sack. There is a lot of head room for all your clothes.I could stretch out my arms above my head inside the bivy, (I'm 5'11")

Cons
Maybe not best for winter weather camping.I used this bivy sack over the weekend camping out.The temperature dipped down around 10 degree Fahrenheit and a lot of condensation built up on my bag.The first night I slept with it totally zipped up.The second night I left my face out so that I wouldn't breathe on my down sleeping bag. Both nights my sleeping bag was damp.I am uncertain if it was just too cold to for the fabricate to breathe.I think it will work find in warmer weather.

There are four ultralight straight tent stakes to hold each corner in place. But in the future I will swap out the stakes with Sheppard's hook type of stake later.

I am eager to use this in spring to see how it does.

Texsport Cranfield Screen Arbor Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Great only if you are wanting to use this for a day of camping, and then take it down. Just hope it doesn't rain! The water comes right through. Also, if any water gets on it, the whole thing will collapse, snapping the weak bars, and puncturing the tent and screening on the way down. Not worth the price.

Texsport Patio Umbrella Net Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Ok, idea is great but for lack of material or not for a 9' umbrella as stated.
Like another user, the net did NOT reach the deck surface properly. If I had a smaller umbrella ( an 8' or 7' ) it would have been fine.( BTW, noticed in ad picture they closed the umbrella a little bit to make the net perfect on the floor )
I spent about a 1/2 hour adjusting the net to fit proper to no avail. When I pulled on one side, it just lifted the other ( there was really no more give in the elastic top ring ).
So, if you have a 7' or 8' umbrella it will more than likely work ok, but not for a 9' as in the ad.
Quality of materials not the issue, just the lack of lenght!
