Texsport Cranfield Screen Arbor Review

Great only if you are wanting to use this for a day of camping, and then take it down. Just hope it doesn't rain! The water comes right through. Also, if any water gets on it, the whole thing will collapse, snapping the weak bars, and puncturing the tent and screening on the way down. Not worth the price.

Texsport Patio Umbrella Net Review

Texsport Patio Umbrella Net
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Ok, idea is great but for lack of material or not for a 9' umbrella as stated.
Like another user, the net did NOT reach the deck surface properly. If I had a smaller umbrella ( an 8' or 7' ) it would have been fine.( BTW, noticed in ad picture they closed the umbrella a little bit to make the net perfect on the floor )
I spent about a 1/2 hour adjusting the net to fit proper to no avail. When I pulled on one side, it just lifted the other ( there was really no more give in the elastic top ring ).
So, if you have a 7' or 8' umbrella it will more than likely work ok, but not for a 9' as in the ad.
Quality of materials not the issue, just the lack of lenght!

Eureka Northern 12' x 12' Breeze Screen House with Awning Review

Eureka Northern 12' x 12' Breeze Screen House with Awning
Average Reviews:

This screen house is wonderful if at times you want to keep out the rain, wind, or sunlight. All sides have drop curtains so you can raise, lower whichever ones you want. Set up was easy and one person could do it. The product quality is excellent....you get what you pay for!! Poles are sturdy.Poles to use a curtain as an awning are included. My only fault is that guy ropes to tie the tent down are not included....a mystery because it certainly would not be a big added expense. The best price was at Amazon...more than 100 bucks saved!

Product Description:
A great choice for backyard barbecues, days at the beach, or evenings lounging at the campsite, the square Eureka Northern Breeze is nicely light and easily transportable thanks to its aluminum frame. It has a 144 square foot area (12 by 12 feet)--just right to fit a standard-sized picnic table--and a roomy 7 foot, 7 inch center height. The near-vertical side walls also provide more usable interior space. This versatile screen house also features four side walls that can be used as waterproof walls or awnings--with 64.5 square feet of awning-covered exterior space on each side.
The 150D polyester splash cloth and roof provide excellent UV resistance, and offers more durability than other screen houses with 75D polyester roofs. The strong durable shockcorded aluminum frame attaches to the body by a central hub and clips for a fast and easy set up every time. Other features include two full-length doors, no-see-um polyester mesh walls, and an optional snap-in floor (sold separately).
About Eureka
Though the exact year is unknown, Eureka's long history begins prior to 1895 in Binghamton, New York, where the company still resides today. Then known as the Eureka Tent & Awning Company, its first wares were canvas products--most notably, Conestoga wagon covers and horse blankets for nineteenth century American frontiersmen--as well as American flags, store awnings, and camping tents.
The company increased production of its custom canvas products locally throughout the 1930s and during the 1940 and even fabricated and erected the IBM "tent cities" just outside Binghamton. The seven acres of tents housed thousands of IBM salesmen during the company's annual stockholders meeting, which had since outgrown its previous locale. In the 1940s, with the advent of World War II and the increased demand for hospital ward tents, Eureka expanded operations and began shipping tents worldwide. Ultimately, upon the post-war return of the GIs and the resultant housing shortage, Eureka turned its attention to the home front during the 1950s by supplying awnings for the multitude of mobile homes that were purchased.
In 1960, Eureka's new and innovative Draw-Tite tent, with its practical, free standing external frame, was used in a Himalayan Expedition to Nepal by world renowned Sir Edmund Hillary, the first person documented to summit Mt. Everest only six years earlier. In 1963, Eureka made history during its own Mt. Everest ascent, with more than 60 of its tents sheltering participants from fierce 60+ mph winds and temperatures reaching below -20°F during the first all American Mt. Everest Expedition.
For backpackers and families, Eureka introduced its legendary Timberline tent in the 1970s. Truly the first StormShield design, this completely self-supporting and lightweight backpacking tent became one of the most popular tents the entire industry with sales reaching over 1 million by its ten year anniversary.
Eureka tents have also traveled as part of several historic expeditions, including the American Women's Himalayan Expedition to Annapurna I in 1978 and the first Mt. Everest ascents by a Canadian and American woman in 1986 and 1988. In recent history, tents specially designed and donated by Eureka sheltered Eric Simonson and his team on two historic research expeditions to Mount Everest, this time in a quest for truth regarding the 1924 attempted summit of early English explorers George Mallory and Andrew Irvine. During the 1999 expedition, the team made history finding the remains of George Mallory, but the complete mystery remained unsolved. Returning in 2001 to search for more clues, the team found amazing historical artifacts which are now on display at the Smithsonian.

Eureka Hex Screen House Review

Eureka Hex Screen House
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have had 4 different screen houses before this one. This is by far the best. It is easy to set up and has plenty of room. We live in Maine and sometimes have thunderstorms with gusty winds come thru. All it takes is seconds to unclip and pick up the poles and give them a little twist and the tent drops to the ground till the storm goes thru. Just as quick to set up again. I lost 3 tents before to wind. I won't have to worry about that with this one.

Product Description:
After you get your tent pitched take a few minutes to put together Eureka's 3-Season Hex Screen House. When the sun goes down and the bugs come out you won't have to retreat to your tent, and you can sit at a picnic table and play cards without drenching yourself with bug dope. The hexagonal screen tent has a hub and six poles with external clips, so you can set it up in a snap. The two doors open wide enough to move in a picnic table, and it doesn't have a floor, so you don't have to worry about dropping food during mealtime. With 126 square feet, it's like bringing a sunroom to the campground.

ABO Gear Instent Shelter Review

ABO Gear Instent Shelter
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I purchased the Abo Gear Instent as a beach shelter for our infant daughter. Its first use at the beach in cool spring weather went well. The Instent was fast to set up and take down. Our baby enjoyed exploring the tent and soon fell asleep. Not much room though for adults to sit comfortably and the ceiling height prevents use of chairs.

Our second experience with the Instent was very different. At the beach on a sunny day in June, the Instent got very hot inside despite a normal ocean breeze and the windows open.Baby was sweating and crying so we took her out.During this time, one of the corner poles kept collapsing and I had to push it back into its socket.None of the other shelters on the beach seemed to be having problems. On take down, one of the plastic poles (maybe the same one) broke from its socket and tore into the fabric of the tent, rendering our Instent useless.

I contacted Abo Gear, and despite a quick response and a promise of, "We'll take care of the problem", I have not received a replacement or a status in sixty days.I contacted Abo Gear again and they responded with questions about the weather on the day it broke. It seems Abo Gear is looking for a way out of honoring their warranty.

On a recent Instent-less trip to the beach, a friend purchased a Lil' Nursery tent for us.It is smaller, cheaper and better ventilated than the Instent and worked fine on the beach in the July sun, though it does require a few minutes to set up.I wish I had bought this first and saved eighty bucks on the Instent.Since Abo Gear customer service never came through for me, I don't know whether I had a lemon Instent or whether there are major quality problems with this product.Based on my experience with Abo Gear and the tent's performance, I give them both the lowest rating. If by chance I receive a replacement, I will update this review.
