Slumberjack Ultimate 20F Long Left Sleeping Bag Review

First off I want to dispel both of the bad reviews that were written. No offense, but I'm assuming these two are not backpackers and that is what this bag is intended for.Yes it's light and not fluffy, that's why it only weighs a little over 1lb without the stuff sack.As far as 20 degrees, it's like the other person said, temperature is relative to the person.I'm a hot person so this bag suits me down to the rating and then some. The guy who said he couldn't get the bag back in the sack probably has never used a stuff sack in his life, I actually can get the bag small enough to fit in the sack + my pillow as well, so I have no idea what he's talking about.I give this bag for the price to weight ratio 4 stars, I don't think you can't find a better bargain.

Slumberjack Big Lux Cot Review

Slumberjack Big Lux Cot

The Big Lux Cot with its self-inflating pad that fits in a pocket on the cot is as comfortable as sleeping at home.I am a big guy, 6' 2" and weighing between 265 and 270.On most cots, when I sleep on my back, my arms fall off the side of the cot, but not with the Big Lux.I have room for my arms. When I sleep on the ground, I use three sleeping pads and I am still not comfortable. With the Big Lux, I only needed the sleeping pad that came with it to be very comfortable. It folds up fairly small and is very sturdy, but is a bit heavy. When sleeping on it, it made almost no noise then I rolled over unlike most cots which groan with my weight. It was a great buy.

Slumberjack Big XL Cot Review

Slumberjack Big XL Cot
Average Reviews:

The Slumberjack arrived on my door tonight and I tried to set it up in my tiny living room and ended up having to move furniture! The size is fantastic, it has plenty of room to sleep and flop around without rolling over the support bars. When laying on it the size feels more like a twin bed than a camp cot.

Pay attention to the fact that it is TALL. The description clearly states the height, but at 5'5" my feet don't touch the ground when sitting on the cot so getting out of it will be a comical event. If you are tall this shouldn't be a problem, but if you're in the Hobbit height category (like me) take heed.

The cot is heavy and while it comes with a sturdy case with shoulder strap it isn't the option for long treks into the woods. It also requires some muscle to get the cot set up.The concept is simple, unfold it and feed the two end bars through the top and bottom of the cot, but actually attaching the end bars is hard.I also think the plastic hooks will not last years as long as the rest of the cot.Once the cot is put together it is sturdy and will provide an excellent sleeping experience, but it isn't designed to be set up and taken down night after night.

The quality of the cot is good and the built-in shelf under the cot will be handy for keeping things dry, tucking a book in, or (for me) keeping a ladder close.
