(More customer reviews)I bought this for my boyfriend to use on his camping trip. At first I didn't think he wanted to take it because he usually bundles up his shirts and lays his head on that.. but he brought the pillow with him anyway. When he came back from the trip he told me that everyone was eyeing his pillow and wanted one for themselves. He really liked the pillow. He thought it was comfortable for the size and cost. He folded it in half and used it that way. I don't think it was that soft unless you folded it. You are also able to fold it and tuck it into a nice flap that is located on the back of the pillow for easy storage and it's nice for when you don't have a lot of room in your backpack.

All in all, good purchase. Oh, and it says that the colors vary when you order it. Our pillow came in Red. (just so you know)

(More customer reviews)I enjoy backpacking or just being lazy at a campsite all weekend and this has got to be the best "compressible pillow" that I have ever laid my head on.This pillow is fairly lightweight (for being fairly inexpensive), and it is still able to provide adequate support all night long.

The pillow is attached to its carry bag and simply rolls up into the bag where it can be zipped up inside.Once more, if you wish you can compress the pillow even further with a compression sack or by simply squishing it where you want it (within reason).

I am a fairly big guy who likes to sleep in comfort.I like 3 pillows or more on my bed, but this one pillow provided me with just enough support that I found myself content for the very first time with just a sleeping bag, a sleeping mat, and one little pillow.

If you can't afford something extravagant, and you want simple camping (without lugging along your entire bed from home) or a fairly lightweight pillow that provides satisfactory support for when you go backpacking I would definitely recommend that you give this product a try.It worked for me.

Now, if I can just find the perfect camp sleeping mat...

After close inspection, I discovered that the location where the elastic straps are sewn into the pillow edge is not adequately sealed. In addition, after rolling it up several times, the straps dettached. Because of the design defect, I wouldn't say that it is a pillow - more like a pad. It just doesn't hold air.

(More customer reviews)The pillow is OK I suppose. It will help me rest on longer US domestic flights. I am concerned that the synthetic down will compact over time. It is already showing signs of this, reducing it's functionality as a pillow. Cocoon should also make it clear that unless you have neoprene for skin, the pillow is very uncomfortable without a pillow case. You have to buy a pillow case to go with it to use it. Another $10 for the pillow case plus delivery I found out after I opened up the box. So the pillow ended up costing about $35 inc delivery and case....

Grand Trunk Adjustable Travel Pillow Review

(More customer reviews)I used this on a camping trip at Dead Horse Ranch in Cottonwood, AZ, Aug, 2010. Packs up easily into a small and light weight size. Just pull the cord to pull the perimeter together which folds and squeezes it down in size. Then wrap the cord around the pillow and stuff it into it's sack, which also has a closure cord. If it's too thin for your neck you cannot stack two of these, they're too slippery. Good design, appears well made. Not sure right now if it is machine washable or not. Would like to see more sizes offered with the same design concept.

Pros: small, light weight, easily packs, well designed. Comfortable. Sturdy.

Cons: small, not sure what the fabric is, but it is a synthetic and caused me to sweat more. Not enough size even when scrunched-up to elevate my head enough to straighten out my neck (I sleep on my side).

Would I buy it again? Yes. I think it needs a cotton zipper pillow case so it doesn't feel like a spun PVC cushion.

Kelty Gunnison 2 Footprint Review

(More customer reviews)I just got back from a 3 day trip to the top of Mt Mitchell in NC. It rained the whole time, and temps were in the 40's F. and windy. The footprint is worth it's weight in silver! It worked great! Not a drop of rain got through my Kelty Gunnison 2.1 Tent and the foot print performed wonderfully. It really will save wear-and-tear on your tent. It's light. It fits perfectly. I wouldn't want to go without it.
